Synopsis

The Heavenly Dragon Escort Agency receives an invitation from the Namgoong Patriarch, leading to internal squabbles about who will accompany the delegation. Simultaneously, the top scholar, after passing the Imperial exam, learns he can't hold a high-ranking official position due to politics. Instead, he's offered a secret bodyguard position within the Embroidered Uniform Guards to leverage his Murim background and connections, while also being given land and money. His father is also keen to reconnect with Namgoong for a separate matter involving Namgoong's daughter.
