Synopsis

The chapter opens with Ito Souta being accused of using illegal drugs after the effects of a "hallucination potion" are revealed. However, he reveals that the potion is made from holy water and can only be sensed by good people, suggesting that he, and some members of the Holy Council are heretics. Lee Kiyoung, tortured by the church, reveals that he manipulated events using a special hallucination potion to make Cardinal Bazel believe he was chosen to save the empire and to eliminate rivals. The chapter ends with Kiyoung summoning a monster and challenging the Holy Council.
