Synopsis

The chapter introduces new characters, Park Deokgoo, Lee Kiyoung and Jung Hayan, who are assessed by the shelter's residents as potential allies or burdens. Deokgoo is deemed strong and Hayan is considered weak. The protagonist, Kiyoung, admits his selfish nature, stating he won't sacrifice himself for the group and will not work cooperatively. He is understood by another resident, Hyunsung, who seems to have wanted a more altruistic solution, while another character expresses a desire to use Kiyoung's plans for their own benefit.
