Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist receiving a vague message from his companion about "personal matters," leaving him frustrated that his friend isn't rushing to help him out of his current dangerous situation. He is then forced to interact with the Emperor and Princess Charlotte who he is being pushed into marrying, and ends up pressured into a marriage proposal with a territory as compensation. The protagonist reflects on the events and begins to plan various courses of action, including how to stop Charlotte and possibly working with a different faction.
