Synopsis

The chapter follows the protagonist as they join a large-scale dungeon expedition as a mercenary, proving their capabilities in a brief encounter with another observer. Meanwhile, the expedition leadership discusses the need for strong mercenaries and recruits the protagonist, a Lindsay Family knight, and a powerful swordmaster, Airen Parreira. A unique, talking cat named Ruru, reveals an ability to wield impressive magic and a friendship forms with one of the commanders.
