Synopsis

The chapter opens with a failed poisoning attempt on the protagonist, with his artifact possibly negating the effects. Meanwhile, a group led by the Subjugation Commander, begins their march toward the Demonoid's base. Upon arrival, the group is confronted by an illusionary environment involving music and distorted perceptions, where their senses seem altered, leaving them vulnerable to the Demonoid's powers, with a potential trap lurking.
