Synopsis

The chapter starts by emphasizing the protagonist's resilience against a powerful foe, establishing them as a central figure in a time of darkness. Following this, he’s invited by a representative from the Holy Kingdom to participate in a tournament, during which he reflects on his training and power. He accepts, and accompanied by a former acquaintance, Vulcanus, sets out for the Holy Kingdom. Along the way they encounter a mercenary group who initially mistake the protagonist for another impersonator, leading to a brief scuffle before an attack by creatures forces an alliance.
