Synopsis

The chapter opens with Brett realizing his dream-state training may have been detrimental, and that he's been holding onto negative feelings. Meanwhile, he returns to his family territory as interim lord, realizing he'd rather build the kingdom than be the greatest swordsman. Airen, on the other hand, is confronted by Brett's father, who observes Airen's narrow focus and lack of rest, prompting him to reflect. Both characters contemplate letting go of their obsessions.
