Synopsis

The chapter opens with a strained conversation between the protagonist and his mother, where she prioritizes news of Callian's return over their first interaction in five months. Later, the protagonist learns about a plan to establish 'Valkan' in the old Fabel Knight Corps building, a move seen as a declaration of war against Brisen. This plan is intended to divert attention from Callian's actions, although it puts others at risk. The protagonist ends up needing to ride in the carriage of a girl he likes while suspicious of being followed.
