Synopsis

This chapter reveals that the prince, previously thought to be Callian, is actually a man named Beren, who replaced the original prince. It is also revealed that the original Callian is still alive, and Beren can sense his presence. Beren demonstrates knowledge of events he shouldn't know, including a sabotage attempt, and reveals his goal is to stop the war, but still seeks to understand why the axis of time is wanted by others. This leads to questions from those around him about his intentions, and the differences between him and the original prince, raising suspicion about his true motivations.
