Synopsis

A secret agent from Secritia, known as a 'bird,' arrives in Kairis to gather intel, using the cover story of needing feed. The agent makes contact with a local, 'White Eagle', to exchange information and is given an advance payment. Later, a ritualistic funeral procession blocks the agent's path. This incident prompts a reflection on the customs of death and the agent's own past, concluding with the agent's new role as Kairis' Third Prince.
