Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist questioning an unseen antagonist about their actions. It's revealed that their comrades are behaving strangely due to some form of sorcery, which the protagonist initially dismisses. The group discovers the source of the problem is Gu poison, a venom-based substance, which suggests that the sorcerer is nearby. Jin Geomwoo, from the Golden Heaven Society, arrives to help the protagonist's group deal with the situation and suggests that the poisoner must be tracked down and eliminated.
