Woosang, devastated by the loss of his son, has isolated himself. Sage Mu Hwa visits him, seeking his aid for the Qingcheng Sect. Meanwhile, the assassin is confronted by the Black Cloud Corps, who reveal their client is actually the Emei Sect, and attempt to recruit him. The chapter ends with the assassin reflecting on the source of the horrible things he had to do and the emotions he feels.
The chapter reveals that a grief-stricken Woosang is visited by an old acquaintance seeking his help, while an assassin is pressured to join the Black Cloud Corps, with their actions revealed to be orchestrated by the Emei Sect.
