Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist's group of assassins being ambushed by a large force near Qingcheng Mountain. It quickly becomes clear that they were abandoned by their contractor, the Blood Shadow Group, possibly due to a change of plans or internal conflict. The protagonist, Pyo Wol, realizes he is on his own, sustains injuries, and tries to escape while being pursued by a large group from various clans, seemingly coordinated to trap them.
