Fallas is summoned by his grandfather and informed of a marriage proposal from the Marquis of Gaidan for Harie Gaidan. Though the family plans to reject the proposal, Fallas is tasked with delivering a gift to Harie. During their meeting, they engage in polite conversation and appear to form a positive impression of each other. Meanwhile, the chapter also highlights the noticeable changes in Leo's behavior, which is now more bold and less shy, causing a character to reflect on his past interactions with him.
A marriage proposal is made but rejected, and the protagonist, Fallas, is sent to deliver a gift to the rejected lady. Fallas and Harie, the rejected lady, meet and seem to get along well, while a side character, Leo, experiences a change in personality.
