Synopsis

After obtaining a 'Blach Ether' core, the protagonist learns that he can become incredibly powerful, even reaching S-Rank Knight level, by absorbing it. He then encounters a checkpoint run by the Glory Guild, where he stands up to their arrogance and displays his newfound strength. He is subsequently given a high-tech device by Kiril, who tasks him with finding Doctor Jin, her partner. Meanwhile, public opinion initially condemns the Glory Guild for their mishandling of the recent gate incident, but quickly shifts to support them after a few days, leaving the protagonist disgusted.
