Synopsis

The chapter opens with the heroes struggling against a large group of harpies, whose poison is proving deadly and the protagonist's ether reserves are almost empty. The arrival of a boss-level "Singing Harpy" further escalates the situation, seemingly sealing their defeat. Despite being considered a healer, the protagonist reveals he possesses a hidden, lethal power in his blood which involves black ether, and he dismisses the idea of giving up, challenging the notion that healers cannot be offensive threats. He commits to creating a solution to the overwhelming harpy numbers through his dangerous power.
