Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist announcing his decision to quit being a player, shocking those around him. The story transitions to a meeting where a decision is made to send one scout into a dangerous demon territory. Later, the protagonist and a guildmaster share dinner with the protagonist's former guide, reminiscing about their past interactions and how they grew close despite initial awkwardness, while also discussing the difficulties of being a player. The former guide also states they won't be able to continue their work as guide, as the protagonist is going into a dangerous mission.
