Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist's subordinate reporting on an incident involving unruly undead and angels who intruded on their territory. The protagonist resolves the conflict by ordering both groups to cooperate, much to the angels' dismay. Later, the protagonist receives a repaired sword from a subordinate, and prepares to imbue it with the power of life within a gate, deciding to do so in a safe location. The chapter concludes with the protagonist taking the angels with him for support and being called "Father" by them, creating humorous tension.
