Synopsis

The chapter opens with an enemy, Botis, identifying the protagonist as a previous foe, but stating he will not let them proceed. It then switches to a conversation revealing a traitor amongst the protagonist's group who admits to selling out his family to the Carvan Guild, which caused them to be tortured. The traitor expresses regret while explaining that other group members also betrayed him after having their families targeted. The chapter ends with the protagonist confronting his betrayed allies, demanding to know the reason behind their actions.
