Synopsis

Following a server error caused by the Dark Disciple, players receive generous in-game rewards and events. The protagonist, Loki, is contacted by a woman who reveals herself to be from Earth, much like him. She presents a contract: climb the tower to the floor she's on, and she will reward him handsomely including half of her stake in a corporation and a return to Earth. The chapter ends with the protagonist's determination to climb the tower, not for her, but for his own purposes, and to extract retribution on those who have wronged him. This chapter also introduces a mechanic of gifting heroes to improve their intimacy.
