Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist reflecting on his being transported to this new place and his desire for revenge against a seemingly insurmountable foe. He then returns to his group, displaying a changed attitude, which worries his companions. Later, he learns about new building upgrades, a 'Promotion Chamber' that allows for the growth of heroes within the group. Interspersed throughout the chapter are cryptic and fragmented visions that seem to suggest a connection to a different version of himself or another timeline.
