Synopsis

The chapter opens with a series of seemingly disconnected phrases before a character's internal monologue reveals a past as a guard, their desertion, and descent into violence, culminating in the killing of those who offered kindness. Simultaneously, another narrative shows a party of heroes tasked with protecting Friacis Al Lagner, a woman who may be connected to events of the past. They successfully enter a temple, acquire the Key of Void but must escape immediately as a sandstorm suddenly disappears and they all flee the city.
