Synopsis

The chapter opens with a large-scale undead assault, overwhelming the protagonists with attacks that are ineffective. Karen uses her shadow manipulation to temporarily bind the undead, allowing her to infuse their weapons with a holy attribute. The heroes gain an advantage with these holy attacks, only for a previously defeated foe, Gustav, to return, disrupting the flow of combat and indicating a larger battle strategy is underway.
