Synopsis

The chapter starts with the group leaving the forest, talking about their journey through the desert and when their friend Elcid will wake up. The main character's mentor, who had been absent for a month, dramatically returns, revealing that their true identity has been discovered by Bishop Cesare. They also learn that a former adversary, an assassin, has joined the group. As they continue their journey, the chapter ends with them encountering a large, artificially created desert, prompting questions about its origins and the possibility of a conspiracy.
