Synopsis

The chapter reveals that the seemingly simple living armors are actually phantom armors, created by evil spirits possessing them. The protagonist realizes the reports about the armors' regeneration were inaccurate, and they must find a way to exorcise the spirits or break their connection to the armor, something that cannot be done by brute force. The protagonist, armed with a holy sword, decides that engaging so many at once is foolish, and resolves to retreat to fight them during the day.
