Synopsis

The protagonist, despite his holy sword's advice, successfully completes his first commission by eliminating a large group of sewer-dwelling ratmen, including four evolved ones with unique horns. He turns in the horns for a surprisingly large sum of money and is subsequently registered as a D-rank adventurer. Meanwhile, his companion, a holy weapon, grumbles about the hero's method of training and his current task of sewer cleaning, while the protagonist considers that his acts of service are not far off from a hero's journey.
