Synopsis

The group arrives at an oasis village, discovering it's inhabited by the Badwin tribe, who are preparing for a confrontation. They witness a tense standoff between the tribe's blade, Jahar, and a Beast-Human, Hati, over pasture land. A flashback reveals a previous encounter and some characters have some history with the beast-human, and the chapter concludes with Jahar losing ground quickly to Hati.
