The chapter opens with the protagonist being gifted two Jugen Steel swords that can manipulate their blades using aura and a shield only usable by those with sun attribute aura. Simultaneously, another character is revealed to be waiting in the desert, having received a revelation to meet a Sir Leon. The protagonist is also celebrated by the church and fellow adventurers for defeating a giant spider, while other adventurers take an interest in Karen and her proximity to the supposedly weaker protagonist.
The protagonist receives two powerful swords, "Crescent Moon" and "Dark Moon," and a special shield from the Church, while also encountering enemies from Malice.
