Synopsis

The chapter starts with a strange Rock Ether consuming a character's shield, leading to the discovery that some of their team members are connected by spider webs. A separate confrontation unfolds as the Malice Church's Bishops are introduced, with Bishop Cordia facing off against Cardinal Xana and another powerful Cardinal joins the fray. A team in the mines has arrived to their rally point, they are concerned that another group wasn't the first and they have discovered spider monsters in the mines and they are also now confronted by a team leader that is ready to kill one of their teammates.
