Synopsis

The chapter focuses on a confrontation between Ian, the young master of Alberen, and Minun, the former captain of the guard who ran away with the enchanted shirt. Minun explains that the previous lord was heavily in debt and intended to gamble the shirt away, leading Minun to flee with it. It's revealed that Minun kept the shirt safe, having his daughter wear it, and now faces judgement from Ian despite his good intentions. Ian is shocked that his father would have gambled the shirt and that Minun was in fact trying to protect it.
