Synopsis

Prince Joseph is revealed to have survived a large-scale assassination attempt, aided by an unidentified helper who also defeated Vinuvista, a powerful former guard. Lord Rolmain is suspected of being involved due to his lack of intervention and his possible knowledge of the plot. The assassins were revealed to be from the three families of Croat, leading to the prince questioning if he has gotten caught in the middle of a conflict between the royal family and Lord Rolmain. The chapter ends with a conversation between two characters who confirm the assassination attempt and the involvement of an unknown helper.
