Synopsis

The chapter begins with a selection trial involving a Lamb Spirit, where players must increase a 'gaze meter' to summon it, however, the protagonist triggers a boss encounter and reveals his undead nature. He engages in a brutal fight, showcases a magic swordsman combat style, and uses bone-based abilities, while a larger mission involving a hidden occupation change by a powerful being (Veronica) is revealed as the chapter progresses. Furthermore, the protagonist easily defeats a group of players from an elite team in a quick battle, while focusing on gathering evolution points.
