Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character being confronted about eating a goblin heart. They attempt to explain their actions, claiming it's for survival and to feed an injured teacher they are housing. After a tense five-minute explanation, the other character reluctantly agrees to let it slide but warns they'll attack at the slightest suspicion. The following morning, the two characters begin hunting together but establish very clear and antagonistic boundaries, ultimately agreeing to divide their areas while still harboring mistrust.
