Synopsis

The chapter begins with characters expressing shock and despair about the destruction of their world and the arrival of 'other worlders', including Lycaon. Lycaon struggles to learn an essential skill for stopping a catastrophe, while the protagonist learns it easily. The protagonist reveals they defeated a minor fire dragon, which counts as one of the five catastrophes they must stop, altering the initial objective. The protagonist gains the protection symbol of the destroyed planet, Chronos, and becomes Lycaon's master, and Lycaon begins teaching the Way of the Wind skill.
