Synopsis

Eileen is confronted by agents, potentially from a Duke, and faces pressure to accept an offer to become a concubine, or pay taxes she was previously exempt from. Simultaneously, the narrative shifts to another character exploring a demon realm, specifically an industrial complex, and contemplating the possibility of a Demon King's emergence and the existing class system within the demon realm while also searching for a key character from the story. The character has a tense exchange with a watchmaker over dropped parts before the chapter ends.
