Synopsis

The chapter begins with the Dream Eater attempting to devour the protagonist, but he resists, declaring that he will force the creature to experience the isolation, grief, and rage he has felt throughout his numerous lives. He then unleashes the collective pain of humanity, overwhelming the Dream Eater. Simultaneously, the Fourth Wall, an entity from the story's meta-narrative, also starts consuming the Dream Eater, revealing that it has already eaten countless 'fables'. The chapter ends with the implication that the Dream Eater is struggling against these forces.
