Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist rejecting an effect, then activating "Blade of Conviction" and converting a tether attribute into "Divine Power". He then selects a bookmark to access powerful skills. A dual-scenario system appears, requiring demon hunting to gain rewards and offering a separate, high-stakes hunt for a devil. Throughout the chapter the protagonist is also engaged with characters who think that he is someone else and he's offered resources for his aid. A brutal fight is then shown where a powerful enemy resists the protagonist and injures an ally with an seemingly unblockable attack.
