Synopsis

The chapter opens with Evan recovering from an ambush, while a captured assailant claims to be a simple thief. However, the Sherden family realizes the attack was orchestrated. Evan reveals a plan involving an inside contact within the Order, who will provide evidence of the Bishop's corruption. The Marquis decides to leverage the situation, offering to expose the Bishop in exchange for the Order's support and concessions, thus further solidifying their family's power.
