Synopsis

The chapter reveals that Caine Cromwell, Andrias' father, was used by the Emperor to cultivate the Original Sin before being discarded. Caine hid the Sin within his memories, accessible to his kin. Andrias, after viewing his father's memories, learns he is a key to controlling the Original Sin. He's then confronted by Makoto Kaneshiro, a 'devil' figure, who reveals this is a 'game' where Andrias must collect the Deadly Sins, defeat a final boss, and ultimately control the Original Sin to prevent the apocalyptic end the world has repeatedly faced in past 'plays'.
