Meanwhile, members of the Shadow Sect attempt to recruit his followers but are met with fierce loyalty. The chapter concludes with the Shadow Sect revealing their plan to pit Yeo-un's enemies against him, using the poison attempt and Yeo-un's own vengeful nature to cause conflict and remove him.
Yeo-un reveals he's aware of the poison plot and counters it, while the Shadow Sect attempts to recruit his followers but are rebuffed, leading to a plan to pit his enemies against each other.
