Synopsis

Baek-Gi, initially dismissive of offers for leadership, is alerted to a potential poisoning by a seemingly random individual. He discovers he's been poisoned with microtoxins, not detectable by his usual qi adjustment technique. Doctor Baek Yeo-Un confirms this and identifies the Poison Sect as the most likely source, leading to a confrontation with Cheon, the Poison Sect member, who was already preparing to use more powerful poison on Baek-Gi. This chapter sets up a conflict between Baek-Gi and Cheon after a poisoning attempt.
