Synopsis

The chapter begins with the current Demon Lord showcasing his power and the cult's growth. The story then transitions to a historical flashback detailing how the founding emperor united the warring nations with the help of martial artists. However, his relationship with the Heavenly Demon Divine Cult soured when he chose Taoism over the cult's beliefs and denied them the Kirin's essence. A long-lived elder reveals that she and her comrades were tasked with guarding the Kirin's blood, consuming it in failed attempts, until she finally absorbed it and gained youth and power.
