Synopsis

The chapter begins by outlining the history of martial arts, the emergence of Murim warriors, and the formation of three factions: the Righteous, the Evil, and the power-focused Demonic Faction. It then shifts to the protagonist, Yeo-Un Cheon, an illegitimate child of the Demonic Cult, surviving an assassination attempt thanks to an unknown force. This force is revealed to be a Sky Corps nanomanachine embedded in his body, which explains his survival and mysterious goo, also upgrading his body. The chapter ends with the protagonist realizing the implications of having the nanomachine and his improved body, with a doctor confirming his body is in peak condition.
