Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the infiltration of the river bandit camp and the protagonist's group's information gathering. The group manipulates captured spies to create distrust amongst them. They discover the bandits are preparing to move, which could provide an advantage for rescuing the Divine Physician's granddaughter. They finally confirm that the granddaughter is being held captive on the ship, identified as the first mate's 'woman'.
