Following his wife's death by microtoxins, Yujong grapples with the aftereffects of using a forbidden martial art that caused memory loss and hallucinations, all while trying to protect his son, Yeo-un, who is also poisoned. He becomes a ruthless leader, manipulating the demonic cult while using Yeo-un as bait to find his wife's killer and taking steps to change the cult's foundation.
