Synopsis

The chapter reveals that Yeo-Un passed the Sixth Examination and is now the Twelfth Elder of the Demonic Cult, a position that shocks and angers many of the other elders. Furthermore, it's revealed that the previous Patriarch, a legendary martial artist, was Yeo-Un's grandfather, Inji Cheon, who had been thought missing. The return of the current Patriarch with severely injured elites and the sudden announcement of an alliance with the Murim alliance create an atmosphere of unease and impending conflict.
