Synopsis

The chapter focuses on the protagonist struggling with the 'Ritual of Attachment', initially failing and experiencing physical pain due to mismanaging his Qi. He then successfully performs the chant and makes an object stick and learns the ritual involves manipulating the nature of things. Additionally, he encounters a spirit he names 'Blue Spirit', who appears to be connected to the ritual, and the protagonist begins to decipher the strange book, ultimately chanting from it and triggering an unknown effect. The protagonist experiences pain throughout the chapter and has to learn to use the power he is given.
