Synopsis

The chapter opens with Park Jinsung and others trapped in a tower swarming with reptiles. They discover that the tower has a cycle of an hour of constant reptile attacks followed by ten minutes of rest, with each subsequent wave being stronger. The group's attempts to call for help fail, and conventional attacks are ineffective. Park Jinsung, despite the dire situation, tries to reassure Seyun and the children, believing help is on the way, and begins focusing on protecting the others using his defense skills, while also seemingly developing an odd relationship with Cheonok.
