Synopsis

The chapter introduces Fourth, a powerful entity from the 'Book of David,' who desires death and demonstrates immense power including the ability to 'Fold the Earth.' Fourth's self-destructive murderous intent and overwhelming strength are highlighted, as they engage in combat. Karahal fights against Fourth's violence, showing their own capacity for intense violence. Despite Fourth's desire to die, the fight continues, and Karahal's actions seem to both satisfy and confuse Fourth.
